Omitting the World

Remembering the fearful past,
Lost in the face of relationships,
I place a myriad of me inside a bubble,
Swimming in circles.
I church myself up
with flying elephants,
counting stars that don't exist,
I pretend that
I'm adventuring a romance
with concrete signs of promises,
while I know that
no real solutions to my problems,
...
Alone with my thoughts,
I compose my cobbled passion in music,
Singing it in my poetry.

Thinking of Ocean!

Down by the bay,
Deep in the sea,
Everything is in motion;
On this winter and grey day,
My thoughts swim all the way
2 shake off sweaty emotion;
Rippling waves, white and gay,
Steal some sand away,
A sip of ocean!

Today Is Important

Trust the butterfly that
flutters in your mind,
Fix your violin
with knife, glue, and string,
Go fishing in a pond
that is filled with stars,
Cleave the water below
to keep a balance,
Upgrade your patience
so that you absorb higher intelligence,
Name the lights
that shine in your constellation,
Today is important,
Memories may mean nothing.

Beautifulness (good Luck On your Finals, Students)

Block the noises,
Make your choices,
Don’t think that much,
because thinking is painful.
Ignore the jeers,
See beyond your peers,
Because if you don’t,
You will stop smiling.
Dream life beautiful,
Feel life zestful,
Know your own worthiness,
Because subjective treatment makes no sense,
Know that you are fine,
and you can make life divine,
Beautifulness.

Limericks and Young Adult Literature Top Ten Books and Awards

Limericks are fun to pass the day, especially when the weather is cold, have a good laugh!

A report has come in from the Soemba
that their salvoes go off like a Rhumba
two guns, they sound fine
but the third five point nine
he am bust and refuse to go boomba.

by Captain Nicholl

There was a young man from Japan
Whose limericks never would scan.
When asked why this was,
He replied "It's because
I always try to fit as many syllables into the last line as ever I possibly can."

Keepsake Parakeet

As a token of my esteem
in remembrance of the day,
You showed me the color
of the tears.
*
And I, studying the camera
Wearing glasses, thinking:
“I should have done this
earlier.”
*
I don’t have to develop the film
To see the pictures,
Or dig deep
in an album of memory.
*
All is required
Is what one has to revive,
I know where I stand,
Now time to
Let the past buried in sand.

The Texture of Life

Google.com, dreams of spring

It is very rough,
The research of it
will never be enough.
It's an infinitely
layered structure.
We're in it
but refuse to
take what it is
as final.
It is invisible
like air but
we feel the blue
when issues
stretch
in the form of
dark sketches.

Differences Can Be Tolerated, Stop the Violence...Have A Nice Thanksgiving!

No two rivers are the same,
It takes two leaves to show the difference.
.
The blank paper
says nothing loud
unless you fill it
with words.
.
the cucurbit
becomes useful
and holds strength
once it is put into use.
.
As Einstein has proved,
Energy transforms, but never lost

Because of You, Unknown Soldier By Courtney Tanabe

google.com

Because of you, I am here
Because of you, I am able to live freely

Yet I do not know you
And I have not done anything for you

But there you stand, ready to fight
And there you are prepared to die
For me

You've fought before
And you'll fight again
For someone you don't know

So thank you Unknown Soldier
Fighting for me

I'm here because of you
And I owe my future to you

The Locale High School Concert With No or Wu Programing Sheets (11/10/2012)

For sixth and seventh hour parts,
Ms. Denise McCain orchestrated pleasant music,
Such as twinkle twinkle, little star,
and some other classical, near or far.
.
Ninth, eighth grades look fun
with black ties, cowboy hats, and taller music stands,
Mr. Scott Jackson sing with the students
on Western songs, the tunes are grand.
.
Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth grades
with two powerful but impressive songs,
a special performance with fees but No tickets
no program sheets, but cheerful notes
.
What fun concert!

Sledding

 Ready, set, go,
    Let’s sled in the snow,
      Crouching low,
         Here comes the show:
            Grip tight,
               And enjoy the ride.
                  Way to go,
                    We’re flying,
                       The ride is exciting,
                          Slip,
                            Slide,
                               Glide,
                                   What a flight,
                                       Scream,
                                         Swoop,
                                            Speed,
                                               Ice on feet,
                                                  Stop,
                                                     Giggles pop,
                                                        Miss my laptop,
                                                           One more round,
                                                              Walk uphill,
                                                                 Nose to chill,
                                                                    Sled is on,
                                                                      Buckle and breathe,
                                                                         Ready, set, go,
                                                                            All the way down,
                                                                                 …
                                                                                  Finally we’re done,
                                                                                     What pure fun!

The Tom Cat Home Businesses!

Tom The Daddy cat is sad,
because his home insurance cost has gone up,
Tom wants to have the bills square rooted,
not squared, of course...thus he tries a reset up.
.
Tom's wife Queen, the Mommy cat notices everything,
She asks Kitten cat Mien to go shopping,
Tom finds his favorite chess game,
and he has fun with Queen and Mien...
.
The rise of the price is affordable,
Yet Tom has wished that they should have been less tight,
He has Mien's tree house fixed,
and when Kitten Mien hugs him, he beams with pride.

Happy Halloween, Please Join Our Poetry Picnic Week 39 and Humor Week 14 Today....All Mixed Event!

I'm red ink in a gel pen,
In a writer's hand I'm never chicken;
I'm juicy sugar in the cane,
Never confused with green-eyed monster!
.
I'm blue moon in Heaven,
My glow is gentle and faint,
I'm peanuts not yet toasted,
I'm corn flakes that aren't frosted.
.
I'm a tree not pruned,
I'm a poem yet to be fine tuned,
I'm a window without a blind,
I can always detect what's come behind.
