Sledding


 Ready, set, go,
    Let’s sled in the snow,
      Crouching low,
         Here comes the show:
            Grip tight,
               And enjoy the ride.
                  Way to go,
                    We’re flying,
                       The ride is exciting,
                          Slip,
                            Slide,
                               Glide,
                                   What a flight,
                                       Scream,
                                         Swoop,
                                            Speed,
                                               Ice on feet,
                                                  Stop,
                                                     Giggles pop,
                                                        Miss my laptop,
                                                           One more round,
                                                              Walk uphill,
                                                                 Nose to chill,
                                                                    Sled is on,
                                                                      Buckle and breathe,
                                                                         Ready, set, go,
                                                                            All the way down,
                                                                                 …
                                                                                  Finally we’re done,
                                                                                     What pure fun!

    LOL Long gone are the days I thought this was fun. We reach a certain age and then the aches and pains remind us we need to be a bit more careful with out bodies but, the young (ish) know no fear. LOL

    Loved this and the way you made it slant too, very clever!
