Trust the butterfly that
flutters in your mind,
Fix your violin
with knife, glue, and string,
Go fishing in a pond
that is filled with stars,
Cleave the water below
to keep a balance,
Upgrade your patience
so that you absorb higher intelligence,
Name the lights
that shine in your constellation,
Today is important,
Memories may mean nothing.
Beautiful. Memories will fade away- some names will be written by us on stone that they stay, some will be written on sands and they will be washed away. All a part of soul progression isnt it.Everything adds upto making us so us. Seasons greetings to you and happiness. :)

I like the wisdom you've interspersed throughout the poem. Beautifully written here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, wise poem!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!
Except for the last line, this is brilliant. Artistically, even the last line is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteA great New Year to you and yours.
Spectacular poem, and personally meaningful for me because I bought a violin after taking an adult workshop some years back, never took the lessons I planned on, and have decided this is the year to free it from its case. Beyond the violin imagery, the whole of this work really is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat message... Living in the Now.. Wow!!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOk. You've inspired me. I think I'll start with the violin.
ReplyDeleteThis was excellent... powerful... I just fell in love with this!
