Flash Friday 55-Surprise

It's 3 am,
Her phone rings,
Home alone,
She decides to ignore,
"Bang!"
Someone is knocking at the door,
She couldn't ignore any more;
She gets up,
trying to turn on the light,
A pair of hands grab her thigh,
Hugging her...
She feels like screaming,
The hands pull her closer,
"Surprise!"
Says her hubby,
beaming.

  8. Interesting to read the different responses to what the continuing story after your ending might have been. Everyone has a vivid imagination.

  12. I'm in troubler here! Very high-up light switch or very vertically challenged husband. Or is husband merely a drunken boor?

  13. It is a piece of writing,

    a fiction.

when I write it, I have this in mind:

Hubby comes home from international traveling, thus the time is late.

  16. Now, I would consider a "surprise" that could lead to a heart attack as being a really poor idea. Boo-hiss on that hubby. But hurray for your 55.
