Untitled

By the shore of untamed sea,
Fake prophets vanish,
Rusty notes are swept away
by forceful morning sun ray,
No more crawling toward scarred fate,
Torment curls up to die,
I cannot wait
to stretch my wings and fly.

  17. This makes me think of a couple of dying lakes not far from her: Walker Lake in Hawthorne NV and Mono Lake in CA. There is such a sense of sadness and desolation when I drive by those areas, as there is in this poem. Yes, we wait for freedom.
