Alphabe-Thursday/Short Story Slam Week 9

We have problems,
Our happy moments are rare;
We either love or hate,
Struggles in life sadden our fate;
T is for today,
Today is an important date,
Today I decide to be myself,
Today I want to make friends with now,
Today I live free,
Today I shipped emotional burdens away,
Today I went to see the sunset in a bay,
Today I fell in love with blue, pink, and gray...
Today my mind popped open,
Today my soul was soften
...

A Magpie Tale in Sunday 160

Outside is raining,

My head is spinning,

Tired of complaining,

I open the door,

and begin to walk without looking at the floor,

Then, I heard raindrops singing.

Saturday Centus: Surprise! I'm Pregnant!

Saturday Centus: 100 words, plus 3,  or fewer.. My Entry (101 words)

 *****

At the age of 50, she remains healthy!

Two kids have grown and gone.

She has 2 books published by traditional company.

Life is blossoming after they bought a new house, where they have a pond, and an orchard of apples in their backyard.

A magical library at home makes life easy: With the push of a button, one can read anything...

This summer they spent 10 days in Las Vegas, where they made love every night and …

“Surprise! I’m Pregnant!"

“No!!!”

Her husband’s words cut, sharp and painful…

They couldn't reach an agreement.

What’s your opinion?

Bouts-Rime, Poetry Form in 55 Words

Alphabe-Thursday (S is for Sneeze)

*****

Wooed by anxious August breeze,
The giant, kind, and reliable elephant
from the Africa wild starts to sneeze,
and under the orange tree to pant,
lives are transforming, look at the ant,
Golden delicious peanuts are crunchy to please,
A time to harvest dreams of peace;
Take them all, including a mouse and his cheese.

In The Next Galaxy (Short Story Slam in Poetic Form In 55 Words)

 *****

Too many gossips,
Too many hardships,
Trees block her views too,
Thus, she decides to close her eyes,
and let the world do time travel:
In a second, she’s in the next galaxy,
Beautiful and free,
The sky is blue,
The space is open/cool,
Best of all, she meets him,
A dream comes true!

To a minister,
August is a blister;
To a student,
September is important,
Try NOT to be dependent!

Thursday Prompts-Banana's Questions

Aged 3,
Under an old oak tree,
Banana is swinging on a monkey bar,
while his mind pictures a flying car,
Banana loves being read to story books,
He enjoys running along wild brooks;
He has beautiful imaginations,
His curiosity has no limitations:
A cookie jar,
A coconut bar,
A shooting star,
A beach tower,
A diamond flower,
“What if I go sour?”
He would ask his mom after his nap hour.
“What if I go soar?”
His questions make him loved more…

I Still Live In My Past!

All these times, I still live in my past,
Wearing a mask even indoors,
At midnight, starring into darkness
With phantoms, roaming above the floors.
.
Quiet entourages of hometown Gods and Demons,
They follow me like my shadow,
Holding a knife to my throat
when solitude sneaks in via the window.
.
Blocking out disconcerting sentiments,
Looking up at stars, that shine bright,
I wonder what are the driving elements
sending them our way on a glint of light.

Sunday Confessions

If I should die, think only this of me,
How supportive and diligent
I used to be:
I truly loved my family,
I genuinely cherished friendship between you and me;
If I should die, think only this of me,
How tough and excellent
I could be.
I never meant to hurt anybody,
I worked tirelessly for this community!
If you can not see what I see,
Read more stories and study history.

Free Write Friday in Alphabe-Thursday (Addictions and Triumphs)

Everyone has some addictions,
Some are benign,
Some may get one into a troubled line;
Hard to predict without contradictions,
The cure will depend on what’s been done,
and whether or not it is related to wine;
Instead of paying full attention to the issue,
One shall form agendas engaging and different,
No need to cry with a box of paper tissue,
Simply focus on wholesome event,
Words of encouragements and love are essential,
Good Luck, you are someone special.
