An eye for an eye
will make the whole world go blind,
one got to be kind
to all human mind,
learn one's lessons,
Let life breathe,
grow, and blossom
with ease.

ReplyDeleteI don't know--how does that work? Looking at the paper and seeing deaths from the latest suicide bomber. How to treat that with kindness? I just can't seem to see that far.
ReplyDeleteHi and thanks for using the whole of my Carry On Tuesday prompt in your opening lines. This certainly is a poignant piece and provides us with plenty of food for thought.

ReplyDeleteI like this. A simple mantra for living, especially the "let life breathe" phrase. Sometimes our actions do suffocate it, don't they?
ReplyDeleteYour words are so true. If we could just, "Let life breathe" through us "with ease" - how tranquil we would be. Very nice ...
ReplyDeleteNamaste,
Isadora
Lovely poem.

ReplyDeleteLive and let live, each one in his own space, and that would make the world a better place!! Nice thoughts!!

ReplyDeleteLove the eye for an eye remark! Must have been a lot of that going on since there are so many blind eyes around!
