Hello.I guess nobody's happy.Such a sad state to be in.Thanks for sharing.Unchain My Heart
Very nicely done! I enjoyed it. Blessings, Terri
I procrastinate but I rarely ignore. Your poem is very well written.
I love the shape of this poem, and I really like this phrase, "we shut our eyes to the sorrow of ignorance..." So much easier than doing the work.Namaste...........cj
is it easier? yes, i would agree. pretend being well nails it.
We become what we perceive ourselves to be. Yes, it is much better. xoXox
Its lovely short verse... I enjoyed it. The idea of shutting your eyes is good but it does not work for me at all.. the pain still lingers in the heart...Shashiॐ नमः शिवाय Om Namah Shivayahttp://shadowdancingwithmind.blogspot.com/2011/10/whispers-love-and-loss-butterfly.htmlAt twitter @VerseEveryDay
So true. That's always the expected answer to "how are you?" It's the rare soul who really wants to know.
Yes, we'll rather not be bothered with those putting brakes on us. We'll rather level our thoughts with those who can share ideas with us!Excellent thoughts!Hank
Nice words very well written :)

Wow, that really packed a punch. It was visually and poetically beautiful.
Short but so full of impact
Beautiful work.I really liked how you conserved your words, but still said so much.Incredible poem and Happy Birthday!
Clever poem... it's hard to be genuine but it's hard to be fake... and you can end up in a kind of limbo. There's hope though. And that ignorance and pretense won't last forever. :] xx
Some time that is not so easy to do but you are right it is better to close our eyes and pretend we are well but inside we are nothttp://gatelesspassage.com/2011/10/03/memories-and-photographs-of-you/
Well said. I like how the structure of the piece appears to be a closed eye.
A simple, yet incredibly satisfying poem.
Hi, Emanita01 here. This is awesome, succinct and powerful! That does it I hereby pass on RoughWaterJohn's challnge, because I enjoy your writing so much :-)http://fodder4writing.wordpress.com/2011/10/06/roughwaterjohn-passes-on-the-seven-links-challenge-v2-0-gauntlet/
Love the shape. Message well conveyed.
A blogger recently wrote that the most-told lie is the word: "FINE"! As the answer to "How are you?"
Releasing the sorrow and closing my eyes to know it has been let go off has worked for me.I love your poem and the picture it paints.
