The Beautiful Couple ( Humor and 55)

She loves him,
He adores her,
They eat together,
They read together!
.
They hold hands
and walk together,
They enjoy
exchanging warm, mushy kisses.
.
When he wants to be hugged,
He calls her name,
Arms outstretched,
to invite her.
.
Who, do you think
is this beautiful couple?
She is his mother,
He is only two!

  11. Ah, but of course! I was beginning to wonder who is this dream couple!
That would even make a darling greeting card with the right artwork accompanying it. :)

  18. This is SO sweet!

My girl is 10 now but some of my best mothering moments were of reading to her when she was that snuggly little toddler lump so attentive by my side.

    Great 55!

And, so back to my comment...
Mine's 13 and he just stood up stretched out his arms and claimed a goodnight hug :-D

Nice poem. Didn't count 'em but does 55 mean the wordcount and was this part of a writer's challenge?
