As A Lady Serenity (Sunday Prompts)

As a lady serenity,
She is a constant comfort to many:
Trees and birds,
Heaven and earth,
You see nothing wrong in her action
when the frozen field of her mind rest under protection,
Anguish feet often trample her permeable thoughts,
Perpendicular shocks of emotional waves,
After all, tomorrow is another day,
I see a spring storm under way,
Reborn and refreshed,
Seductive flames startle the Sun,
Her hungry desires are feverishly cashed,
Light penetrates, eternity is divine.

  9. Nice words, though I am not sure if that is the real her or the one made up by the powers that be. If they get re-elected, truly then we shall get to see who Michelle is and what she can do!

    happy gooseberry day!

  14. Thrust into the limelight not by choice but she portrayed a classic personality. Re-election would make her 'immortal' as befits her standing.

  16. I read the piece not realising who the woman in the picture was, and even so the poem is amazing. I know too little about her to be able to comment, but to me the poem describes Mother Nature herself.

  17. Hi Taylor ~~ I haven't visited your blog before. I am liking this poem. It shows a nice summary of a proper woman's traits, feelings, and emotions.

Michelle can do no wrong in my book, she is an elegant first lady with air of dignity. (I would vote for her over most or all of what choices seem to be appearing.)

  19. Taylor...I feel SO stupid, kinda 'out-of-the-loop'? Because I sure dd not realize your were writing about the First Lady, Mrs O'Bama.

She may well BE a "class act", like "Serene Highness" but I hope she files a "change-of-address" form next January

Peace, Peep! Sorry I misread the meanings.

  29. As Helen said, poem and Michelle, class acts. She represents a high point in American history, the highes point Martin Luther King's dream has come to realisation.
We will see a reaction, and the next first lady will be white, but Barak opened the door and she entered, bringing to the White House her intelligence and charm. Now that door can never be closed again.

  30. That was a really nice poem and could describe so many women.

I am not a fan of hers and at times she seems okay but I think we do not ever get to know the real person and can only guess. I have an independent mind and I guess being told what is good for me and what I should not do is just a touch on the stifling side. But I do like that she gardens. That is a cool thing.

Thanks so much for playing in this weeks Theme Thursday, I guess you could say a storm is coming this year. I just wish they could all be nice.

    God bless.
