Love Is Blind

Being oblivious of the situations
and feeling restless,
She journeys through trapped planets
in drowned silence
cross the diamond studded sky,
Love is blind,
Love is mindless associations,
Anxious spark awaits in icy wind
as a fleeting fire ignites life,
The ember forms colored hues,
Smoldering with hope,
Flickering,
Yet transforming.

  4. In some ways true love has to be blind for us to overlook those things which drive us crazy about the person we love, (annoying habits etc) and once we can love them past all that I can think we can say love is blind...
Lovely. I love the travel in this, planets, space...

  5. Love is blind and when often enough said it would turn out to be true.We cannot get 100% of our desires and dreams fulfilled but we accept the faults ans shortcomings 'cos love is blind. What if love is not blind? I dread to think!

  6. What a great poem - it is so true too. "Flickering, Yet transforming." I love the association of love to a flame - how strong and powerful it can be, and yet how delicate it can be. Your poem wonderfully illustrates love as well as discovering love with perfection. Thank you for sharing!

  37. agree to how love is blind, its like we have a veil around our eyes not seeing the true person we thought we knew..

  44. Indeed, truly blind. Only the bystander would see it best. Though love may not work out everything at times, but it's true that it can be transformational.

    Good illustrtion of blind love!
