The Story Tree (Trees, Stories, Inspirations, and Life)

A writer’s life is a life of exile under trees.

When a writer plots a story, she is seeking shade, as a story develops, we see a tree branch out, right under winter’s coldness…

A tree takes the Sun in through its barks; it feels good to see leaves pick axing their way out, this happens in spring time.

Summer time is when a story is in its fullest swing, as a tree stands tall and feels fully packed with leaves and out stretched branch arms, everyone enjoys going under a tree in a sunny summer day, mostly in bare feet, or watch kids swimming in a pool nearby, while sitting on a beach, wearing only shorts and T-shirts, or swimsuits, and the story continues, reaching its peak then.

A story begins to wrap up as autumn arrives, tree leaves turn red, orange, or brown, leaf raking gathers meanings now, by concluding a story.

When winter says it is time to stop growing, it means tree barks look like cold, dark flames, a story complete. It’s time to stay indoor, cuddle close to the fire in your living room, let a beautiful story warm your heart or move you to tears.

A tree’s life is a story’s life, tree planting is story telling…

Think about it, write your story masterfully, the way trees grow and shine perfectly.

Got To Think of You As Members of My Family: A Special Tribe To My Special Son and To My Younger Brother

To My Special Son Pandi:

“Where is my panda hat?”

Your 14 year old brother asked

while I was driving him to school

this morning,

His remarks reminded me of someone,

You, you are someone I begin to think,

I smiled big

When I began to recall Tom’s passion

with you, even before you were born,

He grew up being very fond of stuffed animals,

Panda is his favorite,

He had drawn panda pictures,

He had written The Panda Adventure stories,

He had created Thepandamaster101 video series,

“Me and Pandi”: He had his picture and you

shown on His Face Book page,

with honest and authentic information,

Two of you had more than 500 fans there,

Someone had knitted two panda hats for him,

I saw him wearing it to school

and at concerts all the time,

Who did that for you and for him,

I had no clue,

These made me feel kind of guilty and blue,

A teen of 14 dressed up as a panda publicly,

Oh, I felt sorry for not knowing the reason,

I never mentioned you to him,

But he had you in him,

Super fondly,

He wanted to be a panda,

He wished to carry out your innocent spirits,

He loved, expected, and welcomed you

ever since he was born,

Without knowing why,

But I shall know why now,

These events made me very happy

and glad to share your brother with you,

my precious Pandi.

To My Younger Brother Shawn:

Oh, today is your wedding day,

Here, I wish to pray,

and tell you what I wish to say,

Sorry for being unable to be there,

Reflections, Gratitude, and Future (Personal Note from Taylor Boomer 2 U)

Greetings, Fellow Poets, Bloggers, including individuals who read and support this blog:

How are you?

Recent weeks, many things happened in blogging land, some are cool, some are worrisome,

Me, as a blogger, starting with zero, and become the owner of 2 or 3 online communities within two years, has been feeling restless, confused, and helpless at the moment, but today, everything seems becoming more clear and I can see the whole picture now, I am here to speak to you in person, please do listen and adjust your attitude and become happy, worrying free, and productive…

When I begin to blog, my initiatives are Positive Energy, Creativity, and Encouragement…I had been sticking to these disciplines for a whole year long, until something bad happened to me, I was accused of stalking on a male blogger, and was attacked by him in his personal blog 2 or 3 times directly, although the situation was tough, because of my perfectly fine tuned blogging rules, I still had hundreds of supporters supporting my first poetry community, and I moved on without him for an entire year, 100% clear from him, never created any links to link his poetry site, rarely read him, only checked out basic facts once a week, I was happy and Jingle Poetry Community was very successful and beautiful.

Keep in mind, I am not here to discredit my strong supporter, the blogging king of the world, he had been supporting me when I first started blogging, without any discriminations against my identity, I forever value him for what he had done when I was new, curious, and uncertain about things…I did not, never wrote a formal complain about him even after he was gone, working with a lovely blogger who also had been a strong supporter to me before they took off…so I stayed independent, felt good about my success, and was thrilled to see my former supporters achieve what they could achieve.

Later, when something bad happened to Jingle Poetry community, which meant, an official intended to take charge of the community as her own without my permission, things got touchy, it had been chaotic for 4 to 6 weeks before I figured out a way to survive, I changed the way officials post, and removed that particular blogger, who had been a host to poetry potluck for 40 weeks in a row, from my official list…

You may wonder, why do you wish to continue being the boss? She had been supporting for such a long time, got superb talent, she might deserve a chance to be the head of JP?

Well, exactly, if I allow her to replace me, at the time, she was 100% negative about me, and had sent emails to supporters making claims, so, if she won, then she would continue her negativity against me, which would be unfair since I had never done anything bad to her previously, I supported her to enable her to be successful along the way every single week, …I was the one who created the community, mapped out the details, recruited officials, her taking over the community would turn the entire place upside down, I knew that she plotted to change the community blog name, and well…the community would not remain as JP, which meant that JP would disappear and I ended up a failure.

My thought is: if you are capable of running a community, start one with your own design, recruit your own officials, and be generous and I will support you that way without hesitation, trying to turning my community into yours, highlighting me as a loser, and bully me ..This won’t work.

I love my creation, I am proud of myself for being creative, and I support and value all poets who come to my place…respect me, and honor me if you could, if you disagree, go to places that have more appealing features, you can do it, right? Making assumptions and attacking me or others is not what I approve, I felt very sad that recently, I, myself somewhat fell of track, I shall never directly criticize anyone, I shall voice my opinions in more gentle way so that understanding in between is obtained.

I am grateful to see that The Gooseberry Garden has been a continued success despite hidden issues among participants, no more official issue, so, consider our weekly poetry picnic as a party, you shall feel honored to be invited via email, be smart, join the party if you can, no stress, and feel happy to read your peers and make some poetic friends, I always include all active poets in our community, not to making you feel left out, never meant to force you, no punishment if you could not attend, the number is about 1, 350 poets, amazing community and support.

I felt blessed that my former supporters have come back to me, in renewed energy and interests, they are everywhere supporting in many ways, please be aware: everything you do positively to my community is recorded and remembered, your talent is our treasure, your presence is our pleasure.

At last, I wish to say: I am a blogger who enjoys creativity and supportive community, I don’t dishonor you if you decide to stay out of my landscape, I don’t attack you if you have developed a love affair with another blogger, I don’t get upset if my supporting rate is relatively low, I don’t belittle you if you are new hand in blogging or poetry writing, I don’t go mad if you did not, or never return favor to my comments, I don’t report, envy, and fear you if you started running a community of your own….I respect, cherish, and enjoy individuality and freedom of speech, and I love it when you come to me, please give me my space, my freedom, my authority, and my reasons to be ME, and to be HAPPY.

I love my family, I value my partner as the highest intelligence, I support him regardless his conditions, my offspring love me, they are well disciplined and feel safe under my wings.

Say No to Censorship on Internet Today: Act Now!

Remember a week ago when I joked about men in suits showing up because of a phrase I turned. Well...

Today we take a stand against censorship by going dark and not participating in any social media or web based activity. Urge your representatives to vote against these bills. Or you may be next.

I could not see any online images on Google or wordpress.com today, all internet images are censored, without freedom of posting and sharing images online, our life becomes dull, I feel instant boredom when I see the big black square blocking me from seeing what I wish to see, just as I was about wondering what's going on, I saw a post which explained everything going on today in the states and on website, thus I copy and pasted the original post (see above) and added my own notes here on the bottom, please act to stop censorship against internet, we bloggers need to voice our opinions and make our freedom visual and relaxing...

I am not commenting today, will take a break and read books, think of my kids and do a nature walk, see you tomorrow.

The sunshine colored umbrella

is her Kleenex,

dries off her tears or runny nose,

keeps her mood in comfortable

soft when days go stormy.

In common senses’ fabrication,

A handy dainty tool

She is gifted from a unique box,

The feel of being under magical spell

soaks constant doubts of ambiguity.

It’s heart breaking when virtue is out of steps,

with pseudo keeping in check,

this umbrella offers hope to wipe off consequences

caused by continued errors

that tarnish life in dumbness.

One has to think twice before act,

Change starts from YourSelf,

Be the magical umbrella,

Let your own action speak,

Let life give you wings to fly.

A Magpie Tale on Change

What dies out of you and me, our creations,

out of our landscapes and gardens

will come back as a reflection,

to impress us,

to improve us---

the empty sunflower heads,

the used to elegant now torn milkweed,

the once full of sprouts with birds now tough little trees,

the bitten cat-faced tomatoes,

coffee grounds,

empty sidewalks

…

Compost will shape our future.

The turgid brown mountain boils,

Emitting the devil’s breath of methane,

Cooking castoffs and moments of regrets:

Dog vomit, rotten potatoes,

Failed squashes, polluted river,

Salted cucumbers, broken eggshells---

snatches a rapture of well rounded humus.

Rich soil to dig in for first class clothing,

Fancy dirt is ready for the gardens

of all citizens,

including the queen and the king.

Take a walk around the naked mountain,

Think of summer thoughts and water fountain,

you will have the vision of everything,

the change in earth unspoken,

the colorful and the plain…

Go fishing in a pond

that is filled with stars,

Cleave the water below

to keep a balance,

Upgrade your patience

so that you absorb higher intelligence,

Name the lights

that shine in your constellation,

Today is important,

Memories may mean nothing.

From determined mind, love rises,

Time together solves crisis.

Tendering my garden, I grin

at the rising Sun, divine time.

Cold winter wind showcases its blue,

Hot coca drink makes our eyes glow.

Pages turn, the space is clean,

Roles change, let’s welcome spring.

As I was lying in my bed,

Cute thoughts keep popping in my head.

Smile, Smile, Smile away worries,

Think, Think, Wisdom springs from it.

The sound of music pleases me a lot,

The return of love makes me see God.

Walking down a dirty road with a deep cut on my knee,

Bloody stuff won’t scare me as I love climbing a tree.

The future is unknown,

Sing today a tune.

Bluebell Books: Short Story Slam Week 17

(A continuation to one of the entries there)

Happy moments between the Cinderella and the prince did not last long,

Because after the birth of their precious child, something went wrong,

One of Cinderella’s half sister called Linda had come along,

She did not make the break through until Bestir answered her phone,

That’s a cold afternoon,

When Cinderella finished feeding her son with a silver spoon,

and sang lullaby all day long

without paying much attention to her husband, and the phone.

Already, Bestir believed that he had lost his princess’s love

to their new born son, who looked cute like a dove,

And he was getting out of patience

As days went by, his lovely wife refused to do sex in silence,

Bestir had been very active ever since he married to his wife,

Now, he had become blind and blamed his son for this sad life;

Thus when Linda called asking how was everything going,

Bestir answered the phone with tears starting pouring,

He did not care

Who was out there,

He was determined to have a love affair,

Thus he agreed to have a date

with Linda, for his own sake…

This was exactly what Linda wanted,

and she got super excited…

They booked a room

and got drunk before they slept together the way between a bride and a groom,

…

Later, whenever Bestir went mad for getting no attention from his wife,

He would go to Linda to feel good and experience loving life…

Something he did not know

was that Linda was carrying a fetus coming from an evil soul

before she decided to give credit to Bestir, the handsome guy,

After three months intense affair,

Linda told Bestir that he was the father to her unborn child in the affair,

Which had added sadness in the air

Because Bestir felt timid to become a father again,

After all, his feelings for Cinderella was still there,

and he could not hurt his wife, how unfair…

But there was nothing he could do to prevent everything,

In the end, Cinderella became angry

and she took her son and moved away,

Leaving Bestir with his mistress Linda in the house,

with Bestir feeling timid like a mouse…

He was forced to reduce the time he made love to Linda,

and he had to be ready to face another breakout

after the birth of their “Child”,

Also, another step sister Buggy had come to visit often,

She hugged him in the kitchen when Linda was resting,

Within two weeks,

As Linda became large like a ball,

She could not handle sex at all,

Buggy fled with Bestir to her old home,

Together they made love without shame,

…

Eventually, Linda had her son born,

His look did not resemble Bestir at all,

To make Bestir her own,

Buddy revealed Linda’s secret….

The world had turned upside down,

Bestir felt very miserable after all,

His life became a mess

and he truly regret about what he did…

After careful consideration,

He made an important decision:

His wife Cinderella had to come home,

Linda and her son will stay in a side room,

Buddy must work as a nanny to stay,

He might have sex with all three,

They all must agree

That, Cinbes was crowned the true prince,

Cinderella was crowned formal princess,

Like it or not,

Everyone had to respect him

and appreciate what she got.

Bestir and Cinderella became loving again

after all the wounds and pain,

Cinderella was able to understand her hubby better

and knew that their relationship did truly matter…

She hated her step sisters,

But they were victims as women,

They do deserve love from a good man

and Bestir might be the proper one then,

After everything,

No other option…

Thus she tolerated her sisters and forgave them for their sins

and together, they lived peacefully before

The third generation of the similar story begins.

Trust Is A Must

Magic can happen from writers' fingertips,

Since a thread of muses strengthens,

The world is seen in corridors of imaginations,

Emotional and raw,

A poem may not mirror one's mood at all!

If issues thrust,

Trust is a must.

Opals of envy don't fit,

Sheepish hesitations can wait,

I yearn to embrace

omens in faith.

If we allow ourselves to live in vain,

Realizing that I could NOT,

and may NEVER have everything within reach,

I decide to cherish what I’ve GOT

and try not to be judgmental or to preach;

I let go of my world so that

It rolls down the hill,

It is amazing to be the cat in the hat

and let my instincts take charge of my inner mill,

I refuse to encourage a Wordy War,

Following the road signs and watching out for the icy floor,

My mind waxes and wanes no more,

It’s cool to let unsubscribed wind filtering through my door.

and playing a role of vampire

crash like a game of life one can never decline;

If you happen to be two years old younger,

you definitely would refuse to lag behind,

since citizens of earth shall occupy infinite wonder,

with limited states of weightless trouble in mind.

Imaginations race in rapid speed,

You can fly in light years if you need.

As the year of 2012 looms near,

Pulsations of emotions start to appear,

Wearing or not wearing glasses,

I know none of you have to attend classes,

when spacious room of dreams is released,

every creative soul feels so very pleased;

Purple looks more beautiful

when it associates with Blue,

Spasms of joy falls tumbling down

when the enigma of love remains hopeful,

and this freedom of dream to fly belongs to you,

Believe that you are capable of anything or everything,
let your talent soaring high, while believing:

Gently, snowflakes float and touch the ground,

Covering the earth with a white blanket,

Cold, heartfelt, and profound,

Snowballs roll down the hill,

Snowmen pop up and glow,

Life that’s in hibernation inhale the chill

While bare tree branches soak December blow,

Nights become long

With day time sings a holiday song,

Time to let the year’s burdens be gone

and make corrections to incidents that done wrong!

Until spring rain gives life to everything,

Everyone has to pay attention to snow days and sing.

Vanilla-scented trivet shivers

upon the sudden shifts of folks’ health,

Trees laden with amorous emotions,

Standing at the cross road,

With my pen dripping heavy droplets of blue from my inkpot,

I reconcile with our relational precipice,

Decide to genuflect toward the South Pole for some time,

Love and satisfaction are No game,

Inkling shows that what you truly wanted

may not be what I can always offer,

Number of faces,

Fictional characters,

Ideals,

Those are trivial to me

when they sum up and hurt some authentic identity,

Not ready to submit or negotiate deadline,

Let time judge and define,

A Crow's Confession

Morning has been running bare feet

as she races cross the wild meadow,

Chasing the wind that has gone South,

I sit in the silvery sunset sky,

All soot and dark,

Hoarfrost rallying between my toes,

Knowing that I have not lost you

Because I never really have had you,

It’s here NOW

and there THEN,

Like a lost child,

You can’t tell exactly what you’re doing

all these times,

Do you have to seek happiness

at other folks’ suffering?

Love is love,

If one loves you,

One shall love you without conditions,

How could you,

losing your consistence

and yield to a selfish lover’s ugly request.

I know I could not change you,

But you are hurting others

By so called love,

Stop your contradicted tears,

And so I’m sitting here,

Perched with anger, sorrow, and sadness

on your subjective actions,

Expecting you to reconsider your plans,

Never mind,

I can take it,

Slow,

and won’t respect more nonsense misperceptions

or self-centered assumptions

from your other lovers.

The Broken Neck

Finally, frosty-headed, he fell asleep,

Not moved but murmuring something in his dream,

It’s midnight,

She stayed awake,

Decided to feed their cat downstairs,

Pitching down the dark stairway,

She tipped,

Falling through the empty space,

Headfirst,

Landing on her face,

Touching the cold, clay floor,

With forceful pain whirling in her head,

She lays dead awake,

Still, could sense the miserable moments

standing near her with a smirk on face,

Her head above the stars,

An empty blur below,

Her limbs were angels in a haunted dream,

Cell phone beside her,

A remote within her reach,

She lays there,

Firmly believe that,

It’s the cat’s purring engine

and yellowish tail

that have settled at her neck.

Short Story Slam Week 14 (Fiction)

Sitting in her favorite bath tub, with hot and bubbling water kissing her delicate, soft, and beautiful skins, Amy feels relaxed, and excited too.

The little yellow rubber duck seems knowing all of her secrets tonight, because it sits there, turning its back on her, and falls quiet!

Gently, Amy washes herself, hair first, with the most famous brand of shampoo and conditioner, then, she does her body: face, neck, legs, feet, including toes and back, it seems like if she did not give herself a complete bath, her life would fail.

That is a dreadful thought.

As her fingers go through her breasts, especially the area around the nibbles, her face turns red:

One week ago, at the International Convention Center, Max Russell, A CEO from Australia, keeps his eyes fixed on her half shown breasts when they dance, his right hand has brushed against there unintentionally, when music stops, and he turns his body away. And that touch has sent her thoughts flying.

Yet, Amy is a woman with tastes, she would not make her move despite what she thinks.

They meet every day, handling a business deal in between, along with several businessmen from both parties. Max is of the most handsome guy among them. He has been very attentive to Amy these days, but, she has declined his offering to movies or drinking at bars.

Tomorrow, Max has to go back to his own country, and Amy, a widow of a war hero, who has been very lonely, yet very elegant looking and child free, decides to meet him tonight, for dinner at a private and fancy hotel.

Max has sent one thousand red roses at her door step this morning, fifteen minutes before she drives to work, and along with a card, is a love poem on it, handwritten and signed by Max.

Actually, Amy does not know much about Max, despite that fact that he is a business CEO and must be rich, and he has given a super fair bonus to the business where Amy is in. And he has a very beautiful attitude.

Amy starts to wonder about him only after three days ago, when they dance again as part of their business duties, Max has invited her to to dance with him FIVE songs in a row, while Amy takes a break, Max simply sits next to her, being quiet. When Amy exits the ballroom to breathe some fresh air, Max has followed her outside, and he has squeezed her left hand, while she begins to shiver in the cold autumn wind, yet, Amy has insisted going home by herself.

…

The bath water has turned warm!

Amy comes back from her train of thinking. She hand massages herself, from head to toe, once more, in a quick pace, and finally stands up, showing her clean and perfectly shaped flesh to the empty space, she shivers a little as she wraps herself with a pink towel.

Staring at the mirror, she sees herself beautiful, but, some shameful thoughts quickly climb on her cheeks and she almost wants to scream: what’s this all about?

The doorbell rings as soon as she puts on her dating dress, and has her light makeup on.

It’s hard to imagine what’s going to happen, but, Max is waiting, and she is ready!

It burns in poetry.

Her heart bursts in light

The two live far apart,

but see one another, daily,

accidentally, mostly.

Erotic passion grows,

It’s real, and burning,

The ruse of reactions cross great distance.

Like dry leaves before the fire of gaze,

Space, time, and gaps wither,

Life barriers are annihilated by the power of emotions.

The thoughts, the eyes, and the glory,

Unimaginable consecration,

a ruse, in full operation.

Love one another, either real or spurious,

The faces, the sunsets, no more vital,

The distance, by itself, was sufficient.

Haiku: Ghost

Standing next to bed,

is a ghost who is so sad,

I pretend he’s Dad.

The ghost of my past,

follows me like my shadow,

I shall embrace it.

Buy enough candies and share.

Greet them with No fear.
After the knocks at your door die,
Enjoy some bloody pumpkin pie.

I'm A Tree Grounded On The Floor

Growing naked by the end of Fall,

I’m a tree grounded on the floor,

Fancy thoughts spring

with autumn rain on my chin,

I dream of flying

while birds have gone hiding,

I sneeze

when snowflakes descend beneath,

My body shakes

If someone scratch my legs with rakes,

I’m slowly aging

and my confidence is fading,

Just as I’m about to quit,

A girl with blue hair starts to change my fate,

She doesn’t mind that I’m bare,

I cannot talk, but she does not care.

She hops on me,

and starts to do things to make me happy.

I feel handsome

with my blue angel in my arm,

She reads to me day and night,

In her words I travel worldwide,

My eyes begin to glow

as passions in between grow,

I have become a magical tree

Even since she has come to stay.
